  • How to Book the Gym Floor?

    Simple process designed for your comfort and safety.

  • Babel's Guidelines

     

    Before you come over, here are some new procedures we’ve put in place to ensure that Babel remains safe and comfortable for everyone.

  • General Booking Policy

    To ensure fair usage and the safety of all members during these challenging times

    Gym Floor Bookings

    1. Following the Standard Operating Procedures provided by the Majlis Keselamatan Negara for Sektor Sukan dan Rekreasi, each gym floor's usage will be managed to ensure sufficient social distancing is achieved. 
    2. Like classes, you would need to book in advance via the "Mywellness" app (by reserving your slot on the "Mywellness Timetable").
    3. Select which gym floor you want to train in e.g. Gym 1 Training.
    4. Each training slot will be a duration of 30 minutes. Nevertheless, you will be able to have up to 6 slots per day and up to 12 active bookings at any given time. e.g. You can book 2 hours of training slot and two 45-minute classes on Monday, a 45-minute class on Tuesday, 1.5 hours of training slot on Wednesday and 1 hour of training slot on Thursday.
    5. Like classes, slots may be booked 3 days in advance from 12:30pm onwards, and will close 5 minutes before the start of the booking. Those without bookings will not be allowed entry. To accommodate your schedule changes, you may cancel your booking up to 3 hours prior to the start of your slot. i.e. Less than 3 hours cancellations are not allowed.
    6. You will receive a notification on the "Mywellness" app 10 minutes before the end of your workout.
    7. If you could not attend a booked training slot and have not cancelled, your booking will be considered as a no-show and you will automatically be given a strike. Members who accrued 3 strikes within 14 days will not be able to book classes for the next 7 days.
    8. The amount of members training on the gym floor will be monitored and confirmed by our trainers. They will be stationed at the gym floors at all times for any assistance and queries. 

    Requirement of face mask during training:

    1. Face mask must be worn when walking in and out of any gym space.
    2. Face mask must be worn when doing free & machine weights.
    3. Wearing a face mask is recommended, but not compulsory, when using cardio-based equipment.

    Group Class Bookings

    1. Following the Standard Operating Procedures provided by the Majlis Keselamatan Negara for Sektor Sukan dan Rekreasi, all classes have been categorised to either a static or a dynamic activity and will be prescribed the relevant requirements.
    2. To observe sufficient social distancing during your workout, all classes will be delivered with a reduced capacity to provide more personal space. However, we aim to increase the frequency of classes delivered to provide you with more opportunity to join them.
    3. All class participants will be given designated training zones/boxes, where each zone is spaced out between 1.5 to 3 meters apart.
    4. Each participant will be able to choose their own equipment for the entire class, with no sharing allowed.
    5. You will be able to have up to 6 slots per day and up to 12 active bookings at any given time. e.g. You can book 2 hours of training slot and two 45-minute classes on Monday, a 45-minute class on Tuesday, 1.5 hours of training slot on Wednesday and 1 hour of training slot on Thursday.
    6.
